Deep Frown Lines
Deep Frown Lines are a common concern, and are easily correctable with small amounts of Botox to reduce the muscles which cause frowning. In severe cases, a dermal filler can also be injected to smooth out the area.
What is a dermal filler?
Dermal filler is an injectable gel made from Hyaluronic Acid. As Hyaluronic Acid is a natural substance found in the body, over time the body will naturally break down and remove the filler.

How does Botox work?
The injections contain Botulinum Toxin Type A, commonly referred to as ‘Botox’. Botox causes relaxation of the muscles in which it is injected in order to smooth out, and prevent formation of wrinkles. As well as being used for treatment of lines and wrinkles cosmetically, it can be used to treat many other medical conditions.
What does the procedure involve?
The procedure takes around 5 minutes, where the area of concern is injected with a small needle.
We can use a numbing cream to make the procedure more comfortable, and the dermal filler also contains a local anaesthetic.
